Today was a good day. Shortly after my last post my foot began hurting *again* so I had to give up working out. Again. Today I felt OK so I did 20 minutes on the treadmill at anywhere from 1.5 to 3.0 incline, around 3.5 mph. I followed that with the abs video. Since I cancelled Blockbuster Online (they are suckingly slow and I'm now a Netflix girl) I had to give back the Lotte Berk butt video. It doesn't appear Netflix has it, so another Amazon trip might be necessary.
I'm sitting here eating a perfectly lovely cup of nonfat raspberry yogurt. I don't know what it is about working out and yogurt, but the two seem to go together. Probably something about the protein and creaminess and all that. Now if only I could get the seeds out of my teeth.
Oh, I forgot, I did work out this past weekend a little bit. It was a perfectly lovely day Sunday so I convinced Mark to walk around the neighborhood a little bit. He's been expressing interest in losing weight too, so I thought this might be good for us. He pouted at having to go but got into it pretty quickly. We walked for about 20 minutes and then went back because he had to pee.
Mark also wants to get a weight bench to work on his chest muscles, and some dumbbells for curls and all those boy-type exercises. Maybe that stuff could be good for me too. We shall see.
