Well, the foot healed up a bit so I decided to start working out again. I made my debut Monday with 20 minutes of treadmill walking (varying incline from 2.0 to 6.0 every 2 minutes) and doing the 30-minute Hip Hugger Abs video. I was pleasantly sore this morning and went for it again today - this time I did 30 minutes of walking, varying my inclines, and another Lotte Berk video, High Round Assets. This one concentrated more on butt exercises, though I did feel a lot in my hamstrings.
I think I'm finding that my body image improves 100 percent when I'm working out, regardless of whether I'm losing any weight. Just getting my ass moving makes me feel skinnier - and that's partially why I started working out again. I got tired of feeling like a blob. Of course, judging from my soreness, I am actually doing some good re: calorie burning and muscle building, but the feeling good is probably the best part for me.
