Lots is going on these days. Mark was in this weekend and it was heavenly. I think I could almost get used to this weekend-husband deal...
His presence wrecked my eating, however. I had been so good all week and then we had roast with gravy at my aunt's on Saturday, and Chipotle burritos on Sunday. Not to mention his favorite, fatty Mexican beans I had waiting for him on Friday night. So it wasn't good. I must learn self-control.
But the good news is that I may be moving up there with him soon. I have an interview for a reporter position at a smallish paper in the DFW area. I'm not going to say which one, but hey, it's a job and unless it looks like hell on earth, I'll take it. Plus Mark said if we're both working we can buy a house that costs up to $250,000 and stay within our budget. AND we can get a new car. Yippee! Adult life, here I come.
