My eating has not been all that good over the past weekend - what with Labor Day barbecues and stuff - but I'm back on track this week. For breakfast yesterday I ate only a granola bar and an apple...and a sandwich for lunch. Dinner was a little more caloric (chicken parmesan) but it didn't wreck me, especially considering I walked for almost an hour (about 4 miles total) with coworkers on Tuesday evening.
Tonight Mark and I are going to Top Notch Burgers for dinner, because he loves it and wants me to try it, but if I eat light the rest of the day that shouldn't hurt me either. It's all about balancing.
On Sunday I did 50 minutes of cardio at the gym (the real gym, not the suck-ass one at work), and that felt really good. Unfortunately my left knee has been a little tender ever since then, so I really need to take it easy for tonight's workout. The elliptical trainer might be a good idea - non-impact.
